In Australia with Tab Hunter and Sal Mineo.

I would say putting these four together might have made the camera explode. Wonder if it was still intact after the photo was made.

Sal Mineo died at a very early age; he was murdered. I had wondered if his murderer was ever found. Apparently it was a robber who had been robbing in the neighborhood where Sal was when he was murdered. He claimed he did not know who Sal was.

Is Don's left foot turned outward? I love to see him do that in photos. Makes him so human! Billy has his feet very close together. We know how Chet's feet are in this photo. The way they would be if you were playing a guitar while sitting down.

I recall how the guys in my high school were referred to as being "cool cats" when they wore their shirt or jacket collars up so that they were touching bottom of the hairline. Even the gals did that with shirts and blouses. Have always loved this photo and so glad it was put on an album cover.
