Concerts by the EB's and solo

Concerts have so many names in videos it is often difficult to find one, so if all concerts are here together it will help everyone to find one much easier.

We cannot have a Concerts thread in Forum without the beloved Reunion Concert, 1983, Royal Albert Hall, London:

Because of copyright issues in the U.S., we currently have three working song clips in Videos from The Reunion Concert that are viewable to American fans:

THANK YOU VERY MUCH!

Chris, this is a terrific idea for a thread! Not only is it helping to organize the thousands of videos on this site, but it also provides a great opportunity, that some of us never had: to be at an Everly Brothers' performance!

The best part is that live concerts, recorded audially and/or visually, allow us to enjoy and appreciate the originality and creativity of the musical renditions that happen in an EB's concert!

The essence of LIVE concerts is that we are there experiencing the actual moments with Phil and Don, as they are offering vocal treasures, and we are receiving them!

And! We can repeat the experience as often as we wish!

So Chris, I am grateful for these precious postings!

Listening to "PHIL LIVE AT THE PALOMINO". Phil is singing "Sweet Dreams" with Emy Lou. I love this recording, a favorite of mine, Love Phil, love his voice, and his writing.
Marion
I totally agree with you Marion. Phil wrote some wonderful songs as demo's, or later as an Everly Brother, not enough of Phil's songs were recorded in my opinion and I don't expect we will ever know why. His solo songs were on many occasion beautifully written and his voice was stunning to hear. The solo concerts at Long Beach and the Palomino show how easy he was with the audience it is effortless and quite funny at times. He comes across very well in those concerts. In my opinion he should have spoken more as an Everly Brother.
