March or April, 1972 at The Palomino with guitarist Bobby Knigge.
Wednesday April 12, 1972 – The Los Angeles Times reports: “The Everly Brothers will be at the Palomino Club in North Hollywood Thursday through Sunday.” The EBs' band at the time possibly included Gene Gunnels on drums, Robert Knigge on bass, and Waddy Watchell on guitar. Warren Zevon may have been in the band at this point. Knigge was the Everlys' bassist from 1970-1972 and had been replaced by Ron Coleman. Ron was unable to do the shows at the Palomino, and Knigge temped. The shows were twice a night on the Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
